LBB MONTHLY CORRECTIONAL POPULATION REPORT

Welcome to the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) interactive monthly correctional population report. This report provides current and historical data relating to adult and juvenile correctional populations and correctional officer staffing. The adult and juvenile sections of the report can be accessed by clicking Texas Department of Criminal Justice and Texas Juvenile Justice Department, respectively, at the top of this page.

Users can filter a chart by clicking on legend items to hide or select specific variables in order to focus on combinations of available variables. Double clicking a legend item will isolate a specific variable and a subsequent double click will reset the filter. Note that interaction with a chart via filtering or zooming may alter the scale of the y-axis.
