Do you think your school district or charter school would benefit from a school performance review? Anyone can request that a school performance review be conducted. Please include as much information as possible regarding the reasons for the request. The LBB staff will review and consider all requests. Projects are identified through a risk assessment of educational and financial indicators.

Texas Government Code Section 322.016 provides that “A review of a school district may be initiated by the board at its discretion or on the request of the school district. A review may be initiated by a school district only by resolution adopted by a majority of the members of the board of trustees of the district. If a review is initiated on the request of the school district, the district shall pay 25 percent of the cost incurred in conducting the review.”
